So when we left St. Louis before Christmas, we weren’t exactly sure what the next year would look like for us since there were still a few things in the air. Well, there are still a few things we don’t know about yet, but we at least have a basic plan for this summer. The long and the short of it is that we’re staying in Europe for awhile. Here’s a rough outline for what we’ll be up to for those of you who are interested:
- April 29th–leaving our sweet little London flat, hopefully not getting swept up in all the Royal Wedding Craziness.
- April 29th-May 23rd–Traveling TBD
- May 23-July 11—Dutch L’Abri for us! (if you don’t know what this is, you should really check it out)
- July 17th(ish)–Back to North America following a conference in Leeds that Eric has to attend. We’ll probably fly into Nashville then head up to Canada for our usual wilderness vacation at the family cottage
What remains to be seen–Eric has applied for a grant to do research in Iceland during the fall semester. If he gets it we’ll be headed back across the pond, albeit at a more northerly trajectory, for a few more months. If not, we’ll be back in St. Louis. Either way, we’ll probably hang out in Canada till the middle of August.
